Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove; cool. Fill and frost with 2 cups Cool Whip.

Cooks notes: This is by FAR my all time favorite fall time cake. Fantastic cake recipe for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I guaranteed if you bake it once...you'll fall in love 4 ever!

My mom makes this for me every year at Thanksgiving. She saw the recipe in a Hellman's ad about 20 years ago and has made it ever since.

I used to make this for my mother-in-law at Thanksgiving, when she would come to stay with us, and 1989 was her last one with us. She flipped over this cake and would eat it at breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I substitute one cup of fresh, whole cranberries for the raisins. Yummy!
